This blog is part of www.rightreading.com, the website of Thomas Christensen, author, publisher, designer. Most new stuff is happening here.
Right Reading (a term used in printing, meaning “having correct orientation”) deals with issues of print and electronic publishing. That includes writing, editing, translation, literature, graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator), page layout (InDesign), photography, typography, web work, and related topics.
There’s also quite a bit of literature, history, and art to be found here. (“Literature, History, Art” was the subtitle of my recent book River of Ink).
There’s really nothing off-limits. Posts are usually announced on twitter (@xensen). Follow me there, and I appreciate links and follows.
I maintain a few other sites:
- Frisco Vista: San Francisco and Northern California, particularly gardening & the natural world
- Buried Mirror: Mesoamerica and the Maya world
- 7 Junipers: Asian Art and Culture
- Museum of Folly: Stuff and Nonsense
I like getting mail. I will answer, though sometimes slowly.
