HEXAGRAM 63: ACROSS

You've reached the other side. To start something now would look good at first but end in confusion.

The Lines (base to top)

A braided cord trails behind
My lady's hairpin is lost
Victory in just three years
These rags: all the fashion once
In the east an ox is slain
Wet hair plastered to your head

Commentary

Water over fire. Inhale the steam. The first is going out. Now is not the time for ambitious new beginnings.

Savor completion. Pause before moving on.
