To sharpen the image we again duplicate the background layer. To this layer we apply a high-pass filter (listed in the filters drop-down menu under "other") . We want to adjust this so that there is only a hint of color at the edges of forms.
This layer too will be an overlay.
Now we just adjust the opacity slider to select the amount of sharpening we want.
