Continued from page 1. Here is the inverted image.
The next step is to apply a strong Gaussian blur to the inverted layer. Because my sample image is so small the amount needed in this case was much less than I usually apply. The goal is to barely convey something of the content of the image. Here's the result.
Now we change the layer setting to overlay.
And adjust the opacity until the image looks good.
