50 Books Designed
By Thomas Christensen
Recently for a project I was working on I had reason to review some of my book design work, and I realized I have designed at least 50 books. A sort of a milestone—or maybe just a sign of getting old.
So, herewith, 50 books (I know these images are small, and later on they will become links, but, damn, it takes time even to lay out 50 thumbnails). Many of the earlier ones I no longer like so much, and my favorites tend to be the more recent: The Printer's Eye, 1616, River of Ink, Persian Ceramics, Days in a Life, The Elegant Lotus, A Curious Affair, Bali, Masters of Bamboo, East of Pouring.
