Marijuana compound may slow Alzheimers

Don’t tell the Restored Church of God (see previous post) but researchers at Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA, have released the results of a study indicating that THC appears to block the formation of the plaque associated with Alzheimers in brains.

In fact, the pot compound worked better than the standard drugs that are currently prescribed.

So if you know what’s good for you you’ll put on a little Bob Marley and get granny in the kitchen with those pot brownies while she can still remember the recipe.

In my blog I have a whole section on cooking with marijuana:

So far there are 8 recipes, but that should grow. So if you know someone with Alzheimers get in the kitchen and start cooking up a storm.

This is just another argument as to why Marijuana has medicinal properties, and how these medicinal properties can better the lives of users. There are so many more drugs that are being prescribed that have a lot worse side effects, take xanax, OXYContin, and amphetamines for example. These are drugs that are much worse than marijuana and have bad side effects such as addiction, tolerance, etc but those are always somewhat overlooked. (For more info do a search for OC Caregivers.)
