It seems I haven’t been keeping up

The New York Times recently issued its list of 100 notable books of 2009 — and I don’t think I’ve read any of them!

But it’s not like I haven’t been reading. What’s up with that?

Who says that the NY TImes should define what’s good and what’s not. You obviously have other books you’d prefer to read. Maybe you should publish your own list of your most important books of 2009. I’m putting together a list of books about local matters, including art and museum shows. Now, what would the NY Times know about that? Humph.
